For the NSU Circle 7 2017 winter symposium, were invited by the Chairwoman of the board at Ricklundgården, Gerd Sjöblom Ulander, to create the opportunity to also offer 4 participants a 2 week residency following directly after the symposium, March 12^th – March 26^th  Ricklundgården runs a well known artist-in-residence-programme.

Applicants were required submit a separate 300 word proposal for the residency describing what practices would be undertaken, what they envisaged leaving and how your work will intertwine with the environment and also submitted 5 images, examples of writing, or audio.

Four artists were selected: Grace Gelder, Tuuli Malla, Myna Trustram & William Card
